Dear Seals Families,

Championships are just around the corner! The deadline to register your child for the championships is May 3rd, and no registrations will be permitted after that date. The enrollment fee is $50, and all registrants will receive a swim cap. I highly encourage everyone to participate if you can — it’s going to be a fantastic opportunity for our swimmers to compete, and it’s always a great time for everyone to come together and cheer each other on. This will be a chance to experience a more formal championship event.

Event Details:

• Championships: Saturday, May 17th at the Ventura YMCA.

After May 17th, all swim team practices will be optional. Practices on May 20th and May 22nd will be combined with our Jr. Guards Conditioning Course, which will run from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM.

For more information about the Jr. Guards Conditioning Course, you can check online under the "Programs" > "Swim" > "Conditioning" section, contact the front desk, or email our Aquatics Director, Elia Gonzalez-Guerrero.

Finally, May 29th will be our Swim Team Banquet held at the Teen Center to celebrate the closing of our swim team season. The event will include food, awards, and a short presentation reflecting on our year together. I will send out a survey later this month to find the best time for everyone to attend.

Please note, we are inviting all participants who have been part of the swim team since September 2024 through May 2025.
